Hi to all! Ako po si Arvin from Sta Maria, Isabela, Region 2. Isa rin akong OFW at bagung-bago sa ganitong venture. Ako ay nagpapasalamat dahil meron ganitong forum na nakakapulutan ng aral lalo na sa baguhang tulad ko sa goat farming. Good day. I'm Al, a farmer and goatraiser here in southern part of Bataan. Mga native does crossbread to agf saanen buck ang mga alaga ko. Sa ngayon may mga upgrades na ako and plano to mate sa pure anglo buck by next year para sa mas magandang breed in the future. I already developed some part of the farm for my salad garden. Indigofera, napier, mulberry, malunggay. Focus ko ang forage development dahil heto ang bottle neck sa operation including the water system. Long term plan ko ay meat and dairy production and help to promote goat industry dito sa Pilipinas.

gud day po sa group!
ako kasama ng aking partner, ang aking misis, ay nagstart sa goat raising since December 2006. dito lang po kami sa Bulacan. ang aming pong mga alaga ay mga upgrades lang at native. nagstart lang po kami with 4 heads of does. pero ngayon nsa 100hds n po pero panay upgrades pa din. masyadong exagerated kung titignan but actually swerte lang po at karamihan ng nging alaga nmin nanganak ng 2-4hds then lhat po ng lalaki binebenta nmin at siya nman ibinibili nmin ng bagong inahin or dumalaga. may mga bulugan kami dati pero nsa 50% lang at recently may nakuha po kami from fellow goat raisers as buck loan, 75%buck, n may mlaking farm somewhere Tarlac, isang taong may ginintuang puso.
may mga produce n rin kami n mga F1 through AI at kami n din gumagawa ng AI since umattend n din po ako training nito..
hayun po ang kuwento ng aming kambingan..

Hello po sa lahat. Wala pa po akong farm but we will start as soon as we can lease a farm lot and establish forage. I'm learning so much from reading here and those are 2 of the things we must do first. Still learning and still reading... HI! I'm new to this site and I love goats, horses and all animals! I currently have two 4 month old baby goats, one is a meat goat the other is a dairy goat. Angel is my first goat, I got her when she was a day old from my neighbor(he raises cows and goats). I had a choice from 3 different goats(one billy, two nannies), but Angel I had fallen in love with. Kelly I got when she was 6 weeks old, my neighbrs dad got her from the woman he sold eggs too. He knew of me and gave her to his son to give to me(confusing to read right?). I love them both and I plan on showing them next year with my two friends that have goats  <3~Angel~ |

Tess Detablan po ito from Pangasinan. Bagong goat raiser po kaya lang nag umpisa kami sa native na kambing , kasi natatakot akong baka maselan ang mga hybrid eh at isa pa di gaanong malaki ang puhunan.
Salamat po sa forum nyo at nakakakuha ako ng mga idea kung paano magsimula. Goal po namin sana magkaroon din kami ng dairy farm in time.

To all new members please introduce yourself here. Welcome Aboard! Hi there, I am eileen bautista-habawel,md. I am a physician by profession and a farmer on weekends. My husband and i have a farm in Mariveles Bataan and in Lamut, Ifugao. We started goat raising because we are fond of caldereta and pinapaitan ;D. five years ago, someone gave me 3 does from djanggas and this got us interested in goat-raising. after a year and a half, we started to go "big" and bought does and doelings left and right until it went up to 135 then our nightmare started  . we lost them one after another. (I posted our sad experience earlier) I am a member of gaspar 3. i saw the pics of your farm and i hope we can have a " lakbay aral" thing with the federation members so we can learn from you. hope to see you in the agri fair. eileen |
