 Hello fellow raisers, im from Malaybalay City, I found this site very imformative. thus this will help me a lot, since i am a starter in this industry. im starting with 7 nubians and your articles with its wisdom will go along way helping this dairy goat industry. Gusto ko po sana simulan ang pag aalaga ng kambing at gawin na ring pangkabuhayan pagtigil bilang ofw. Sana po mabigyan nyo ako ng tamang infomation. May mga libreng seminar po ba ang ating gov't para sa isang ofw na gustong mag goat farming.

Hello to everyone, I am elmer and a newbie in goatraising. I am an computer/electronic enthusias at naghahanap ako ng libangan kaya nag invest ako sa goatraising na talagang nakakawala ng stress.

I am Romeo Canada, A Civil Engineer in profession..Currently working as an OFW here in Saudi Arabia. Plano ko rin po na idevelop ung nabili kong lupa na 2 hectares para mag-raise ng Kambing..Napaka-informative po ng site na ito.

sir nestor,,Vacation ko ds coming month of May, sana po ay puedeng bumisita sa farm niyo ng makakuha ng idea at makahingi ng mga advises sa inyo sa pagsimula at preparation. I read ur guide for OFW, at may mga natutunan ako regarding sa pagsimula..and i am very much interested na makita personally lalo na sa actual farm.

hi im jao rahman,planning to open a dairy goat farm in gensan,so im doin a lil research muna para atleast medyo my alam na kahit konti,sana po mka tulong kayo,ofw din po ako,as of now,nag hahanap na po ako ng goat breed na suitable for milking and meat,any recomendations kung ilang heads ang magandang start is very much appreciated..my mga nabili na rin po akong milking equipments,thank you po.

Welcome sa goat forum na ito.
To answer your first question, Anglo-nubian is both for meat and dairy. We have a number of nubians which produce 3 liters a day for single daily milking. Pwede rin itong pang meat.
I am surprise you already have milking equipment. It is not bad at all to be prepared though. Reason I raising this issue is because you have not mentioned if you have the forages to feed your goats. Parati naming sinasabi sa would-be goatraisers ay ang importance ng preparation ng forages. We hope you have read the discussions in this forum with regards to forages.
Marami sa Mindanao na successful goat raisers. I suggest kung uuwi ka ay bisitahin mo ang ilan sa mga goat raisers na ito. I am sure they can give you some practical suggestions.
Kung may tanong ka pa ay you are most welcome to send any query.
