wen ngarud you can visit my backyard at antipolo city, i have american anglo nubian, and la mancha maintaining lang 8 to 15 heads a year di kasi pwede maramihan sa area ko. sa ngayon focus ako breed ng american anglo i have 1 pure buck N001607477 (FARM @ WH ZAKHAR), 3 doe N001614514 (CREE FARM AD TRINITY),N001609568 (LUCKYTOHAVE SPARROWHAWK),N001604786 (AMRIS FARM TWIZZLER).
la mancha buck L001601330 (NCGF HEART BIRTHDAY GIFT), and few island born pure anlgo nubian and la mancha cross to saanen. 2009 nung nag start ako mag alaga ng goats kumikita naman nakakatlong dagdag kita pampaaral at pangastos sa bahay.
san ka sa mt. prov. baka may kamag anak ka sa cainta dun sa igorot village sa valley golf dami igorot din dun, sagada demang, ambasing, suyo, ankileng.
dairy ba ang target mo ngarud, sa sagada maganda mag dairy goat or dairy cattle

mayat ngarud taga tabuk ka pala ung ninong ko sa kasal ret. pulis inspector pedlito cadaweng. ngay kung jan ka sa tabuk baka sa low land gaya ng pangasinan may makuhaan ka ng feed ingredients. dito kasi sa amim sa rizal may nakukuhaan ako pero per 50kgs ang bilihan ng soya meal P1500, copra meal P560, fish meal P560, palm kernel P560, dicalpos meron ako nabili ung cal-o-ber calcium phospate un P120 1kg. check mo rin kung mag mix ka ng feeds eh ok ba sa budget mo baka kasi hindi sya cost efficient kung maghalo ka at ilan lang kakain baka mas ok kung bibili ka ng mixed na. meron gromax jan sa bulacan nagdedeliver sila pero maramihan. or kung malapit ka sa ilocos baka meron din dun mabilihan mga agri supply pwede ka makisabay pag oorder ka. meron malapit sayo si urbiztondo goat farm pwede ka hingi advice sa kanya kung san sya bumibili ng concentrate nya sa pangasinan un.
sa ngayon ang feeds ko ay broodsow pagkain ng hog pero check ko mabuti ung mixed nun kung tama cp tama ang ingredient pareho lang may darak, soya meal, copra meal, molasses salt at dicalpo ang ginagawa ko pag gusto ko mas mataas cp nagdadagdag ako ng ingredient meron din nabibili ng premix 58.8 ang cp nun nakukuha namin kaya compute lang ako para tama cp o crude protein. pareho lang tayo milk consumption pang family muna pero expanding na rin mga better breeds at linage dati kasi buck lang pure ko at upgraded does pero bumili na ko ng pure tangal na ung upgrade.
ok din sheep di gano hirap maitain matibay kasi sila sa sakit last batch ng us pl480 agripbes nag apply ako at naging recipient ako magbayad ako ng outright this summer.

Good day po! Ako po si Chris Bautista. Chef Instructor po ako na nagiisip pumasok sa goat raising. Initially cattle ang papasukin ko. Planning to get a couple of brahmans then slowly build the herd. But nagiisip pa rin ako na isabay ang pagkakambing. May maliit na lugar kami sa Lipa, batangas. dun ko plano mag lagay ng kambing.
Concern ko lang is yung mga kapitbahay namin daw dun eh nag kambing pero mabilis daw mamatay yung mga kambing kasi malamig sa lipa. is this true?

Hi Everyone I am Rowil Batan of Leyte, Leyte. I have been in the livestock business since 1995 mainly cattle and sheep. I started goat raising last july 2010 hoping to go into milking. I started with several native does and was fortunate to be a recipient of the PL480 program. I have started milking my upgraded does only this year and am only getting 5 litters of milk a day which i sell to neighbors. I hope to increase my production towards the end of the year. I have read a lot of post in the forum and am learning a lot from you guys. I also hope to visit the oyibo farm to see and learn more about goat raising.
